The problem of stabilization after sacrectomy

摘要: After sacrectomy, mobilization of the patient is only possible if a stable connection between spine and pelvis can be obtained. We have developed an instrumentation to fix spine. Two DHS screws connected each other were implanted in (one screw into ilium). An internal fixator, anchored L3 L4 through transpedicular Schanz screws, was attached these screws. patients stabilized with this implant after sacrectomy. One able walk crutches; even without crutches.
