A further precondition implantation this is intact reflex arc muscles that to be stimulated, i.e. forearm hand. Central defects such as hemiparesis, cerebral palsies or athetoid disorders peripheral nerve (e.g. brachial plexus lesions) no good indications system. patient selection criteria, preoperative percutaneous stimulation, surgical procedure itself optional tendon transpositions, intensive postoperative rehabilitation program until able independently life-long after-care.
