摘要: The aim of this paper is to evaluate the mechanical and thermal properties sisal fiber reinforced epoxy matrix composites as a function modification by using mercerization silane treatments. changes introduced treatments on chemical structure fibers have been analyzed infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Thermal behavior both has studied thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Both clearly enhanced performance also fibers, being other physical modified. Mercerization, above all when combined with silanization, led significant enhancement consequence increasing improving fiber/matrix adhesion. POLYM.
