摘要: Information Systems (IS) researchers traditionally have the assumption that Technology (IT) innovations are conceived within IT department. Developments like ubiquitous computing, web services and emerging culture of digital natives challenge this foundational as they enable individuals to implement their own quickly. Placing such empowered into a strictly regulated environment will drive them away from department towards solutions inevitably non-compliance. Such user- or business-driven not necessarily result strict policies limited user rights but may be caused by inability fulfil business needs. The phenomenon user-driven fulfilment requirements is called Shadow (SIT). While receiving very scholarly attention, SIT widespread amongst departments. We employ triangulation approach using three independent data sources address domains IS research, Security (ISsec), Governance (ITG) Business Alignment (BITA). Our findings suggest practitioners follow different ITG approaches based on strategy: IT-control, user-oriented user-driven.
