摘要: Abstract Despite the immense benefit of freshwater habitats to day activities humans, their biological diversity remains understudied. Microbial and community structure is critical study ecological processes in these habitats. The naturally acidic oligotrophic lake, Lake Phelps, NC, was studied within context understanding sediment dwelling meiofauna using cultivable microbial communities at three sites water column sediment. Twenty-six bacterial isolates were cultivated, biochemically tested sequenced. DNA sequence analyses 16S ribosomal subunit revealed 26 taxa representing phyla (12 Proteobacteria, 12 Firmicutes, 2 Bacteroidetes), four classes Bacilli, 6 β-proteobacteria, 4 γ-proteobacteria, Flavobacteria), six orders Bacillales, Neisseriales, Burkholderiales, Enterobacteriales, Flavobacteriales). Bacterial sampling distinct this may be because ...
