摘要: Abstract The uniaxial response of a continuous fiber elastic-perfectly plastic composite is modelled herein as two-element cylinder. An axisymmetric analytical micromechanics solution obtained for the rate-independent elastic-plastic cylinder subjected to tensile loading in direction case wherein core assumed be transversely isotropic material obeying Tsai-Hill's yield criterion, with yielding simulating failure. matrix an Tresca's criterion. It found that there are three different circumstances depend on and properties: (1) yield, followed by yielding; (2) complete (3) partial yielding, yield. order which these phenomena occur shown have pronounced effect predicted effective response.
