摘要: The surface of silica nanoparticles has been modified using four sets reagents: trimethoxysilanes (TMS), methoxysilanes (MS), dimethoxysilanes (DMS), and polydimethylsiloxanes (PDMS). Characterization the organic loading structure carried out. Glass slides have coated with organosilicas, wetting/topographic properties studied. Especially for TMS organosilica series, wetting behaviour coatings changes from very hydrophobic to superhydrophobic finally “pearl” bouncing droplets contact angle 180°, as length silane alkyl side chain increases. modifies not only chemistry but also aggregation state nanosilica, thus controls coating topography at nano-, submicro micrometre scales. This called “chemically guided topography”, it produces a hierarchical dependent on coverage, leading different responses.
