摘要: To characterize second tumors that developed in or near the high-dose areas of a previous radiotherapy, regarding their frequency, entities, latency, and dose dependence. 9,995/15,449 tumor patients Radiation Oncology Department Ulm, Germany, treated between 1981 2003, survived at least 1 year after radiotherapy. By long-term follow-up review treatment documentation, 100 them were identified who an independent cancer irradiated first site. Major primary malignancies breast (27%), lymphoma (24%), pelvic gynecologic (17%). Main carcinomas upper (18%) lower (12%) gastrointestinal tract, head neck (10%), (9%), sarcoma lung (8%). Overall median latency was 7.4 years (1–42 years). For colorectal it 3.5 for leukemia 4.3 years, but 11.7 17.1 years. The relatively frequent tract associated with radiation doses 24 Gy. contrast, 50 5- 15-year probability to develop histopathologically site, i.e., intermediate high doses, 0.5% 2.2%, respectively. identify potentially radiogenic malignancies, far beyond 5 is mandatory. incidence potential dose-response relationship will be analyzed by case-case case-control study Ulm data.
