摘要: CF4 and C2F6 are very long-lived greenhouse gases (GHG) 50,000 10,000 years respectively with a global warming potential (GWP100) of 7390 9200. These two perfluorocarbons (PFCs) almost entirely anthropogenic. Three main sources have been identified: (a) Aluminium Industry (AI), (b) Semiconductor (SCI) (c) Rare Earth Smelting (RES). Estimating emissions over time compiling bottom-up inventory, both challenging tasks as there several limitations related to them. Identifying addressing those challenges in order produce an updated inclusive inventory could result better understanding previous improved future estimates these potent gasses.
