摘要: To test the hypothesis that in vitamin D-deficient state activity of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3-1 alpha-hydroxylase (25-OHD3-1 alpha-hydroxylase) is modulated by parathyroid hormone and plasma concentration phosphate only presence small amounts 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 (or some other metabolite D), we measured this enzyme 24 h after parathyroidectomy (PTX) frankly hypocalcemic, chicks were not supplemented with D or one its metabolites. The otherwise predictable complications PTX metabolic setting (hypocalcemia increasing severity, tetany, moribundity, death) prevented continuous intravenous administration calcium (as a solution chloride/calcium gluconate 1:1) through catheter external jugular vein placed at time PTX. findings as follows: (a) 25-OHD3-1 was significantly less parathyroidectomized group than sham-operated control (P 0.001). (b) reductive effect on attenuated when hypophosphatemia increased severity glucose. (c) In post-PTX significantly, inversely related (d) correlated. These indicate state, both circulating can modulate absence also suggest modulates increased.
