摘要: We present the first application of recently developed basis light-front quantization (BLFQ) method to self-bound systems in quantum field theory, using positronium system as a test case. Within BLFQ framework, we develop two-body effective interaction, operating only lowest Fock sector, that implements photon exchange, neglecting fermion self-energy effects. then solve for mass spectrum this interaction at unphysical coupling $\ensuremath{\alpha}=0.3$. The resulting is good agreement with expected Bohr nonrelativistic mechanics. examine detail dependence results on regulators theory.
