摘要: Abstract Prostanoids are thought to take a prominent part in gestation and parturition physiology. Experiments were designed determine the chronological alterations placental synthesis metabolism of prostanoids during third trimester guinea-pig. Placental obtained at days 50, 55, 60, term after delivery assayed (RIA and/or GC/MS) for PGE2, PGF2α TxB2 before ( vivo levels) or 1 hour incubation vitro PGF2α, PGD2, TxB2, 6-keto-PGF1α PGF1α. In addition, PGE2 was measured by radiochromatography assay. No differences with gestational age found levels but showed slight increase around day 60. contrast, (in decreasing order production) exhibited marked from 50 delivery, whereas other no changes. Moreover, 15-hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase decrease same period. These results consistent idea that placenta guinea-pig may be an important source endogenous contribute augmented intrauterine availability near parturition. The implications these findings relation mechanisms controlling discussed.
