摘要: Many cultural heritage applications require 3D reconstruction of real-world objects and scenes. Over the past few years, it has become increasingly common to use digitization modeling for this purpose. This is mainly due advances in laser-scanning techniques, software, image-based computer power, virtual reality. Our approach integrates several technologies based on our experience over more than a decade trying accurately completely model large-scale monuments sites. Using both interactive automatic we can highly detailed structure or site at various levels detail. We basic shape structural elements, laser scanning fine details sculpted surfaces. To present its proper context, rendering landscapes surroundings. apply approach, created hundreds models from sites all world documentation, walk-through movies, visualization. The results were compelling encouraging.
