摘要: Disclosed herein are processes for the recovery of 1,3-propanediol from an aqueous feed stream. The present invention involves contacting stream that comprises water, 1,3-propanediol, and at least one contaminant with solvent extractant to form a mixture. mixture is separated into first phase second phase. majority water some was in weight ratio any greater than same prior being contacted extractant. can be removed order recover 1,3-propanediol.
