摘要: ABSTRACT Dipylidiasis is a zoonotic parasitic infection caused by Dipilydium caninum , common intestinal tapeworm of dogs and cats. Humans may be accidental hosts when the cysticercoid larva ingested, mainly infants young children due to their playing habits proximity with It considered rare in world. In past 20 years only 16 cases have been reported Europe, China, Japan, India, Sudan, Latin America United States. We describe case dipylidiasis observed 9-month-old girl who likely acquired through games her pet dog. stool sample, we 6 proglottids tapeworm. Each proglottid segment was about 8–9 mm long 2–3 thick. A wet mount revealed two genital pores, one on each side, eggs were clustered packets containing 8–12 surrounded thin membrane. The patient successfully treated single dose praziquantel. dog seen veterinary also showed parasitism Dipylidium . To best our knowledge, this human Spain according literature reviewed.
