摘要: The extremely high risk reported for some types of cancer among patients with common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is based on a limited number investigations. Therefore, we examined the risks 562 Danish and Swedish CVID or IgA deficiency 2071 relatives in 1958-96. were identified through an Immunodeficiency Register hospital records, while traced population registers. Cancer incidence was assessed by linkage to Registries compared that general population. Among 386 deficiency, not increased (standardized ratio (SI) = 1.0); but two cases stomach found, resulting non-significant increase (SIR 5.4; 95% CI 0.7-19.5). 176 (CVID), at all sites combined 1.8; 1.0-2.9), which due mainly significant excesses malignant lymphoma (obs 4; SIR 12.1; 3.3-31.0) 3; 10.3; 2.1-30.2). 626 CVID, no found these overall 53; 1.0; 0.8-1.3). Our data show may be lower than previously. absence suggests morbidity related per se rather specific genetic traits shared their relatives.
