摘要: Abstract Smart fiber-reinforced composites, such as long fiber or textile-reinforced polymers are often functionalized by integration of piezoelectric transducers to realize sensory and actuatory tasks like condition structural heath monitoring, energy harvesting active vibration damping. Each these is connected with specific requirements regard the electromechanical behavior composite structure. In this chapter, several qualitative quantitative methods including nondestructive, optical, electrical, mechanical testing for characterization smart composites described. Beyond their functionality performance, integrity quality assurance focused. By example case studies, thermoset thermoplastic test setup results shown. Novel developments in field sensor actuator development manufacture well functional elements into presented.
