摘要: We provide a brief account of recent studies dewetting films simple and some complex liquids. First, we review basic models for onelayer liquids as they are often employed reference case in more situations or Then discuss binary mixtures that may undergo decomposition processes parallel, assuming the first decompose into stratified (layered) before evolve lateral structures. Such setting is described employing longwave sharpinterface two-layer model. also use onedomain diffuse interface model to analyse process. After describing linear stability both cases lay out advantages disadvantages two models. conclude by mentioning other liquids, providing references further study discussing future challenges.
