摘要: In this paper, the detection and isolation of actuator faults (both measured commanded) occurring in engine breathing fueling systems a spark-ignition direct-injection (SIDI) are described. The system an SIDI usually consists fresh air induction path via electronically controlled throttle (ECT) exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) EGR valve. They dynamically coupled through intake manifold to form mixture, which eventually enters cylinders for subsequent combustion process. Meanwhile, is equipped with high-pressure common-rail injection precise control fuel quantity directly injected into cylinders. Since highly nonlinear nature, fault diagnosis will be performed by generating residuals based on multiple observers. Performing properly these key actuators could principle ensure air/fuel ratio dilution improving economy reducing engine-out emissions.
