The effectiveness of Green voices in parliaments: Do Green Parties matter in the control of pollution?

摘要: Green Parties are not the most popular in polls. However, their electoral scores have been achieving more significance since 1990s, especially European elections. This paper discusses role of various seats occupied 36 democracies terms country’s control pollution. Using different specifications for system GMM, regressions here discussed concluded that higher shares parliamentary by tended to be observed countries with significant reductions estimated levels pollutant gases (CO2, N2O, SO2, CH4, and GHG). Additional robustness checks also discussed.
