摘要: The creation of cold antihydrogen atoms by the controlled combination positrons and antiprotons has opened up a new window on fundamental physics. More recently, techniques have been developed that allow some to be created at low enough kinetic energies they can held inside magnetic minimum neutral atom traps. With confinement times many minutes possible, it become feasible perform experiments probe properties antiatom for first time. We review experimental progress in this area, outline motivation studying basic aspects antimatter physics provide an outlook where we might expect field go coming years.
