摘要: Histone acetylation and deacetylation play essential roles in modifying chromatin structure regulating gene expression eukaryotes. deacetylases (HDACs) catalyze the of lysine residues histone N-terminal tails are found large multiprotein complexes with transcriptional co-repressors. Human HDACs grouped into three classes based on their similarity to known yeast factors: class I similar repressor yRPD3, II yHDA1 III ySIR2. In this review, we focus biology HDACs. These newly discovered enzymes have been implicated as global regulators during cell differentiation development. We discuss emerging biological functions molecular mechanisms by which they regulated.
