摘要: The purpose of this transcendental phenomenological study was to describe the influence homework has on educational experiences sixth grade students from low socio-economic backgrounds at a middle school in rural county located western region North Carolina. Eight provided visual narrative pertaining homework, and participated individual focus group interviews. major themes emerge were (a) motivation: teacher policies practices, (b) family interaction: time attention, (c) self-efficacy: emotional aspect, (d) effects: shortand long-term. Recommendations for future research include replication urban areas, inclusion seventh eighth students, increasing number male participants.
