摘要: Abstract A steady state model of the chemistry in lower troposphere is developed which number densities major atmospheric species, N2, O2, H2O, CH4, CO, O3, N2O, NH3 and NO + NO2 are held constant at values appropriate to a summer latitude 34°. Hourly daytime concentrations then calculated for HO2, OH, CH3O2, CH3O, H2CO, NO, NO2, NO3, N2O5, HNO3 HNO2 along with representative evening value. The products nitrogen HNO2. apparent controlling loss mechanism HNO3, heterogeneous reaction on particulate surfaces leading formation inorganic nitrates, also an important removing oxides from air. rate removal greatly exceeds estimates Erickson (1952) though some critical coefficients doubt effect bacterial action has not been considered. dominant radicals, HO2 have approaching 1.2 × 109 molecules cm−3 5 108 respectively. concentration OH approaches 1.7 107 cm−3. At night CH3O2 only radical species present significant amount. Chain reactions interconvert serve as source H2CO sink H2 CH4. It interest that CH4 ultimately results production CO thus providing large natural both. H2O2 CH2OOH all be ppb range.
