摘要: Although Cherax destructor is the principal cultured freshwater crayfish in Australia many aspects of its general biology and genetics have been neglected. In this study, we report primary sex ratio data obtained from 13 families C. intra- intersubspecific crosses within between albidus. Intrasubspecies cross albidus males females generated 1:1 ratios suggesting a simple chromosome-based determination mechanism these crayfish. However, reciprocal produced aberrant with three four being consistent 3:1, male to female, fourth family 100% brood. These findings are difficult interpret, however, they do suggest that may differ two subspecies stress need for further research field. The implications results relation aquaculture discussed.
