摘要: Stimulation of the phrenic nerve evokes early (latent period 8–12 msec) and late 30–40 surface-positive potentials in contralateral sensomotor cortex. The arise two localized areas posterior sigmoid gyrus — near medial edge postcruciate dimple lateral cruciate sulcus. potentials, on other hand, are recorded not only over whole surface gyrus, but also anterior gyrus. component response is evidently evoked by stimulation first group muscle afferents. Impulses reaching cortex from may perhaps participate mechanism sensation breathlessness.
