Displacement Based Seismic Design Criteria

摘要: The USNRC has initiated a project to determine if any of the likely revisions traditional earthquake engineering practice are relevant seismic design specialized structures, systems and components nuclear power plants such significance suggest that change in might be warranted. As part initial phase this study, literature survey was conducted on recent changes codes/standards, on-going activities code-writing organizations/communities, published documents displacement-based methods. This paper provides summary building codes for future codes. It also discusses some technical issues further consideration.
