摘要: We discuss the solution of "superradiance master equation" derived in a preceding paper. During first few photon transient times cooperative atomic decay goes through non-adiabatic oscillatory regime. For later takes place monotonically time with electromagnetic field following it adiabatically. The emitted light pulse has different statistical properties for an incoherently and coherently prepared "superradiant" initial state. former case is characterized by large quantum fluctuations strong atom-atom atom-field correlations. In latter are small system behaves essentially classically. By also solving class intermediate states we show that occur only if total occupancy excited state differs from number atoms at most order unity.
