摘要: Serum testosterone, prolactin, LH, FSH and plasma 17 beta-oestradiol levels were determined in forty-seven male patients with sexual impotence. Low testosterone values slightly elevated prolactin observed 19% 17% of cases, respectively. Since function the seems to be controlled by both dopaminergic stimulatory serotoninergic inhibitory mechanisms, bromocriptine was given orally seventeen patients. As preliminary results appeared encouraging, a double blind study undertaken other thirty No appreciable difference hormonal pattern noticed between placebo treatment. far as concerned, good obtained 52% cases treated 44% placebo.
