Linker of nucleoskeleton and cytoskeleton (LINC) complex-mediated actin-dependent nuclear positioning orients centrosomes in migrating myoblasts

摘要: Myoblast migration is essential for muscle development and repair; however, the factors that contribute to polarity of migrating myoblasts are relatively unknown. We find randomly C2C12 orient their centrosomes in direction migration. Using wounded monolayers, we further show centrosome orientation stimulated by serum factor lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) involves rearward movement nucleus while maintained at cell centroid. The rate nuclear correlated with actin retrograde flow both cytochalasin D blebbistatin prevented orientation.
