摘要: This paper reviews current thinking with respect to the main issues concerning nature and evolution of North China Craton (NCC). Because literature on NCC is so voluminous, it necessity focuses specific aspects that have wider applicability Precambrian cratons in general. The assembly craton examined opposing views evaluated. overall distribution rocks placed within favoured model for subdividing craton, recent advances determining ages key lithological associations are presented. more controversial topic where was Nuna/Columbia Rodinia supercontinents canvassed, although no definitive conclusions can be drawn. Finally, removal continental lithosphere from beneath eastern part Phanerozoic briefly examined, since this phenomenon has implications global preservation crust.
