摘要: The borate deposits in Liaoning, Jilin province, China, are hosted the Paleoproterozoic meta-volcanic-sedimentary sequence which comprises magnetite-microcline rocks, K- and Na-rich leptynites leptites, magnesium marbles amphibolites. borates exclusively carbonates Mg-silicate rocks. association of these their sedimentary structures unusual chemical composition suggest that protolithes were sediments deposited evaporite basins: red beds, zeolitized tuffs evaporites. Therefore, metamorphosed initial precipitates hydrous borates, reflecting a MgSO_4 brine stage playa lake environment. During subsequent metamorphism, dehydrated to form anhydrous e.g. suanite ludwigite. These analogous many modern sequences rift systems. Mineralogically, comparable saline lakes Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) plateau.
