摘要: Abstract The luminescent properties of phosphors are sensitive to the size phosphor particles. commercial Y2SiO5:Tb3+ usually show relatively larger particle (5–10 μm) due irregular morphology rare earth oxide precursor and thus degrade properties. In this paper, we report synthesized from uniform Tb-doped Y2O3 by a homogeneous precipitation method. Compared with phosphors, obtained manifest much smaller particles distributing 0.8 μm 1.9 μm. Consequently, cathodoluminescent intensity under low excitation voltage (1–5 kV) was increased, demonstrating strong green emission dominant wavelength 545 nm. Our results indicate an effective way develop high-quality for field display.
