摘要: Sepsis is characterized by an abnormal increase in plasma proline (PRO) level, which tends to be related the severity of disease. This study has been performed assess relationship between changes PRO and levels doses other amino acids (AA) critically ill septic patients undergoing total parenteral nutrition (TPN). Sixteen receiving TPN were randomly divided into two groups: 8 (Group A) received with a standard AA solution, B) modified solution (isonitrogenous, branchedchain enriched, unchanged concentration). Serial determinations profiles variables each patient for 396 measurements. In Group A mean level was 372μM/L; tightly correlated most AA, highest more severely unbalanced metabolic profiles. B, (except glutamate, aspartate, taurine three branched-chain AA) decreased. The decrease well increased dose simultaneous decreases lactate respiratory quotient. These could specific effect on derangement metabolism, improved balance protein synthesis catabolism.
