摘要: Laser peening is a good candidate for the surface treatment industry because of its localized operation, very fast processing, and ability to use multiple types radiation; therefore, it has recently become process used industrial production. The mechanical recoil impulse that arises from rapidly expanding vapor generates high pulse pressure, structure workpiece changes. In laser process, no melting takes place shock wave generated; compressive residual stresses are induced in material surface. It primarily increase fatigue life improve cracking resistance engineering materials. Compared with traditional shot creates higher magnitude deeper component surfaces, therefore creating metallic materials these inhibit crack initiation propagation. also significant role improving microstructure, morphology, hardness, strength, life, corrosion resistance. can be applied finished part or before finishing step, applicable wide range metals alloys titanium, aluminum, nickel, steels.
