摘要: Abstract Considerable efforts have been made for the fabrication of super-hydrophobic coating self-cleaning applications. However, a facile, eco-friendly and cost effective technology is still challenging issue. In this present work, glass surface was fabricated using palm oil fuel ash (POFA) waste as silica source non-fluoro polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) functionalizing agent. A simple spraying used to coat solution on substrate. POFA analyzed XRF, XRD FT-IR spectroscopy techniques. The substrates were characterized via FT-IR, FE-SEM, AFM, UV–vis water contact angle (WCA) analysis. weight ratio PDMS (SS) (1:0, 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:5) super-hydrophobicity studied in detail. 156 ± 1° achieved when substrate with PDMS: SS (1:2). stability evaluated pH test UV irradiation experiment, respectively. results revealed that PDMS:SS (1:2) coated stable durable acid-base environment. Upon aging, WCA greatly improved 171 ± 2°.
