摘要: Abstract The effects of fuel mixture on the establishment moderate and intense low oxygen dilution (MILD) combustion in a recuperative furnace were investigated. Experimental as well computational results are presented this paper. Data from exhaust sampling NOx thermocouple measurements temperature reported along with simultaneous measurement OH using Rayleigh scattering laser induced predissociation fluorescence, respectively. A variety mixtures methane, ethylene, propane It was found that CO2 or N2 reduced emission made flame inside invisible. This caused stoichiometric fraction to shift toward rich side where scalar dissipation is highest. implies premixing stream circulated gases can have beneficial MILD without need for higher jet momentum. reaction zone be characteristically broad images patchy lower part furnace. probability density function exhibited bimodal behavior cross over 1300 K.
