摘要: The major phenolics of Prunella L. species were isolated, and antioxidant activites determined by 2,2-azino-di-(3-ethylbenzothialozine-sulphonic acid). isolated compounds identified as rutin, rosmarinic acid caffeic high performance liquid chromatography-diode array detection. results show that the phenolic from with content ranged 74% (Prunella grandiflora L.) to 99% orientalis Bornm.), compound was above 90% in all species. Antigrowth effects tested against human breast cancer cell lines, MCF-7 (estrogen receptor-positive) MDAMB231 receptor-negative) MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5diphenyltetrazoliumbromide) ATP (adenosine triphosphate) viability assays. To determine mode death, M30-antigen assay performed order measure apoptosis. It found laciniata (L.) L., P. Bornm. showed antigrowth effect on MDA-MB-231 cells, but apoptosis not observed.
