摘要: Abstract Effects of acetylcholine and agents that mimic or block its physiological actions have been studied upon concentrations guanosine 3′:5′-cyclic monophosphate (cyclic GMP) adenosine AMP) in slices mammalian cerebral cortex, heart ventricle, ileum. Acetylcholine, cholinomimetic with a predominantly muscarinic action, such as methacholine, bethanechol, pilocarpine, induced an increase the concentration cyclic GMP, accompanied by no change slight decrease AMP, all three tissues studied. Tetramethylammonium, agent nicotinic on other hand, did not significantly alter either GMP AMP. The tissue content analogs was antagonized atropine, blocking agent, but hexamethonium, agent. These results suggest generalization interaction receptors, causes GMP. data are compatible hypothesis may mediate acetylcholine. The antagonistic cholinergic adrenergic physiology contraction intestinal smooth muscle cardiac reflected in, result from, these compounds levels both AMP tissues.
