摘要: The endosomal pathway is responsible for plasma membrane cargo uptake, sorting, and, in many cases, lysosome targeting. Endosome maturation complex, requiring proper spatiotemporal recruitment of factors that regulate the size, maturity, and positioning compartments. In animal cells, it also requires trafficking endosomes on microtubules. Recent work has revealed presence contact sites between some endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Although these are believed to have multiple functions, frequency, dynamics, physical attributes contacts poorly understood. Here we use high-resolution three-dimensional electron microscopy reveal ER tubules wrap around find both organelles microtubules at or near sites. As traffic, they remain bound ER, which causes tubular rearrange its structure dynamic Finally, as transition through steps maturation, become more tightly associated with ER. major implication results mature traffic while coupled rather than isolation.
