摘要: It is generally accepted that a low dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration more beneficial for achieving partial nitrification than high-DO. In this study, was not established under low-DO conditions in an intermittent aeration reactor treating domestic wastewater. During the operational period of (DO: 0.3±0.14mg/L), stable complete observed. The abundance Nitrospira-like bacteria, which were major nitrite-oxidizing increased from 1.03×106 to 2.64×106cells/mL. At end period, batch tests showed high-DO (1.5, 2.0mg/L) could inhibit nitrite oxidation, and enhance ammonia oxidation. After switching (1.8±0.32mg/L), gradually achieved. Nitrospira decreased 2.64×106 8.85×105cells/mL. found suddenly condition activity resulting nitrification.
