摘要: Vegetation is one of the main resources involve in ecosystem functioning and providing services urban areas. Little known on landscape structure patterns vegetation existing areas at global scale drivers these patterns. We studied hundred cities around globe, their relation to demography (population), socioeconomic factors (GDP, Gini Index), climate (temperature rain) topographic characteristics (altitude, variation altitude). The data revealed that best descriptors were amount, fragmentation spatial distribution vegetation. Populated tend have less, more fragmented, less connected with a centre city low cover. Results also provided insights influence socioeconomics scale, as was fragmented are economically unequal coming from emergent economies. This study shows effects social system gives useful for provision therefore maintenance human well-being. information can support local policy planning which committing our provide accessible inclusive green space all inhabitants.
