摘要: Hormone regulation of growth involves multiple hormones acting in concert. It is currently believed that the principal are hormone and somatomedins. These hormones, however, would be limited effect without presence thyroid and, at puberty, gonadal steroid hormones. Normal additionally dependent upon insulin glucocorticoids. Interactions among these cellular mechanism action still poorly understood. appears optimal secretion somatomedins on breed, age, sex nutrient intake. Generally those variables which related to enhanced long term also associated with greater rates growth. Therefore, it should theoretically possible artificially enhance rate domestic animals by enhancing secretion, injecting synthetically derived or alteration skeletal muscle cell responsiveness a given amount hormone. Although very little known about latter area, ultimately seem most attractive approach because proposed inherent genetic limitations hormonal stimulation. In addition, any approaches suggested above may further if applied singly rather than additional amounts secondary
