摘要: Poor nutrition in adolescent girls poses critical health risks on future pregnancy and birth outcomes especially developing countries. Our purpose was to assess nutritional status dietary intake of rural determine pulse food patterns associated with poor status. A cross-sectional community-based study conducted a traditional growing region southern Ethiopia 188 between 15 19 years age, 70% being from insecure families. Prevalence stunting (30.9%) underweight (13.3%) were low nutrient intake. Diets cereal-based, both animal source foods pulses rarely consumed. Improving intakes female adolescents dense would ensure better for themselves the next generation.
