摘要: This paper describes progress in the interpretation of notch fatigue data by re-working Williams solution to bring out effects mode mixity and limits small scale yielding. The results are displayed KI versus KII space. Experimental from complete fretting tests using a high strength steel alloy known as “super CMV” then plotted on this diagram it is shown that damage does not significantly reduce life, while stress localisation adhered pad edges does.
