摘要: Primary motivation for this work was the desire to characterize relative performance (in terms of measurement latency) various tracking technologies currently in use at University North Carolina Chapel Hill (UNC-CH). Included test were four commercial magnetic trackers: two from Ascension Technology Corporation (the Bird and newer Flock Birds), Polhemus Incorporated 3Space Tracker Fastrak models). Also included UNC’s own Optical Ceiling Tracker. Note that both 3 Space are older models no longer production.
