摘要: The results of a survey the distribution phosphates in south-western area April 1938 show that there were three regions exceptionally rich phosphate. These appeared to be associated respectively with outflow Bristol Channel, flow more oceanic water across entrance English and upwelling deeper at edge Continental Shelf. surface was poorer phosphate than water, some cases crop phytoplankton.
