摘要: Publisher Summary The chapter discusses the various efforts to improve productivity for type of alkaloids applying biotechnological production process, and only recent progress is assessed. It approaches resulting in considerable improvements or representing new ideas addresses prospects metabolic engineering alkaloids, both transgenic cell cultures plants. Based on present knowledge, strategies that may be followed alkaloid by means are discussed. Metabolic has potential generate superior plant varieties, is, ones more resistant pests diseases plants produce a commercially important compound. Secondary metabolite pathways need understood at level products, enzymes genes able identify possible limiting steps. Regulation occurs all these levels. To understand regulation biosynthesis environmental signals, knowledge signal transduction chains important. Therefore, this reviewed with regard generation.
