摘要: Ninety bitches with mammary tumours were studied for two years after the surgical removal of primary tumour(s). Twenty-nine had been spayed before development tumour, 22 when removed and 39 left entire. Fifty-eight (64 per cent) benign and, these, 15 (26 developed a new tumour within years, irrespective whether bitch was spayed. The other 32 malignant which grouped into 'invasive' 'well defined' carcinomas. Sixty-three cent 57 entire bitches, invasive carcinoma dead surgery as result their tumours. For those well defined carcinomas tumour-related death rates 18 33 respectively bitches. These findings suggest that ovariohysterectomy are does not have significant effect on progression disease, about one in four is likely to develop further another gland.
