摘要: In this paper, we present a novel implementation of dose calculation application, based on the GEANT4 Monte Carlo toolkit. Validation studies were performed with an homogeneous water phantom and Alderson-Rando anthropomorphic both irradiated high-energy photon beams produced by clinical linear accelerator. As input, tool requires computer tomography images for automatic codification voxel-based geometries phase-space distributions to characterize incident radiation field. Simulation results compared ionization chamber, thermoluminescent dosimetry data commercial treatment planning system calculations. phantom, overall agreement measurements within 1-2%. For simulated setups (thorax head irradiation) mean differences between TLD less than 2%. Significant semi-analytical algorithm implemented in system, found low-density regions, such as air cavities strong electronic disequilibrium.
